Here is the Award of Contract from the City of Los Angeles to Stephen Weeks. He has been making one million dollars every year for the past five years and paying the city 25% of that, a quarter million, to operate on public land. This contract expired its initial term of five years but was extended by the Dept of Recreation and Parks for an additional year. This money is pure profit for the city and is a key factor why city council has been hesitant to ban this exploitative practice. So not only is animal abuse sustaining the lifestyle of a millionaire but it is also generating profit for the city in which we live. Our city has been making millions of dollars from the abuse of animals. We cannot let this continue.
